Pro Reviewer's Comments
Keylog
Pro, from PAL, receives a poor rating. About the only good
thing that can be said about this product is that it is
easy to install and uninstall. The product lacks most of
the features that the other monitoring programs have as
standard features. Even though there are not a lot of features,
the ones that are present are not the easiest to figure
out.
Feature Set:

Keylog Pro's reporting is nothing more than "Notepad"
displaying a text file. The product does monitor keystrokes,
but that is all. The log file names are extremely cryptic.
After studying the log files for a while, you can determine
they are made up of date and time, but the interface is
extremely poor compared to all of the other products.
Keylog Pro does have a banned URL list. This means that
if someone is trying to go to a website that has been specifically
banned, the browser is shutdown, but there is no warning
or notice of what happened.
Ease of Use:
Even though there are not a lot of features, the ones that
are present are not the easiest to figure out.
Ease of Installation / Setup:
About the only good thing that can be said about this product
is that it is easy to install and uninstall.
Monitoring Effectiveness:
There are much better products to do the job of monitoring
what is occurring on your computer. PAL does offer a number
of products, that when combined together as a suite, might
offer enough options to bring the software up in the ratings.
Help/Documentation:
The help is poor, it is not context sensitive and is not
as in-depth as some of the other products.
Summary:
Overall, Keylog Pro needs a lot of work to be able to compete
against the other spyware/monitoring software in the marketplace.
